The provisionary group of official observers `International Mission of Honesty` states about serious violations of the Electoral Law in Lviv and Ternopyl Oblast of Ukraine. The Head of the Mission Serhiy Mirzoev in his statement for the mass media gave the following examples: in the city of Pustomity of Lviv Oblast, at Polling Tsation 60 of Electoral District 118 there was a placard with a portrait of the Presidential Candidate Victor Yushchenko holding a child in his arms; the placard reads `YES!`. Similar placards were posted nest to the station on a booth and on a board, as well as an the entrance to Pustomity, on the posts. Thus, the Part 3 Article 57 of `Law on Elections of President of Ukriane` was infringed; there were already ballots in the ballot boxes. Thus, Article 77 of the Law on Elections of President of Ukraine was infringed`, which regulates the procedure of voting beyond the boundaries of the Electoral Commissions and also, Article 158 `illegal use of the ballots, falsification of voting documentation`; also, agitation during the elections is prohibited.

In addition, according to the data of observers from Russia, in the city of Ternopyl there was an attempt to prevent official mass media from entering the facility of the Polling Station Commission and from video recording the events there. This constituted a violation of the principles expressed in Item 3, Part 2 Article 11 on public nature and openness of the electoral process. \On the Polling Station 246 of Electoral District 169 of City of Ternopyl, violations of the Law `On Elections of President of Ukraine` and of the Criminal Code of Ukraine were recorded: the observers found 54 applications form the citizens who could not vote at the polling stations but the handwriting on all of them was the same. There were no signatures or they were the all the same. The respective Act was compiled.
